Sorry to report that one of our own Rogny Rodriguez has passed away

Rogny's mom is having the body shipped to Florida immediately, there's going to be a funeral service at Mohn's (sp?) Funeral Home, which is based in Seminole but the service for Rogny Rodriguez will be held in Clearwater. Rogny's mom said she's happy for Rogny's friend's to attend, and that she's open to allowing some of his personal effects to be present at a New York based get-together.
We all lost a dear friend yesterday. I'm sure everybody would like to be at his services, but unfortunately we know a trip to Florida is not possible for most. Either way, I'm sure that many of us would go out and celebrate his life and the way that he made our lives better. Rudy's would be the best place, if there wasn't so many of us that would be celebrating. Me, Rogny and another friend went there a couple months ago and the 3 of us got turned away because they just didn't have room at the bar.
I have called the people at Hurley's (many of us have been to some great parties there) in NYC. They don't have anything available anytime soon for a Saturday, but we can have the big room on the 3rd floor with the patio on Friday October 9th from 9 - 12 or 1. Please let me know what your thoughts are and if this is something that you would do. With a heavy heart... Phil
